In 1958, when Bob Bugg was doing Sergeant Bilko ads for Camels, he also did a couple of special ads for camp newspapers, directly aimed at soldier. As if standing on a field after a nuclear explosion wasn't enough to kill them. Camels producer Reynolds was one of the biggest and best producers of newspaper comic strip ads. I'd love to have a look at their archives.
